Beverly Center
Overview: The massive, indoor Beverly Center mall stands out among the mall in Los Angeles due to it size and its ideal between Beverly Hills and Hollywood. It’s located at the east end of West Hollywood along La Cienega Blvd and between Beverly Blvd and 3rd St.
The Beverly Center has enormous amounts of people traffic because of its ideal location, its wide varity of retail stores and its upscale feel. The ground level consists of famous chain restaurants: Chipotle, California Pizza Kitchen and PF Chang’s. As well, you’ll see Macy’s. The ground level is primarily used, however, for parking and so are the several levels above the ground. On the La Cienega Blvd side, there’s an impressive escalator system crawling up the massive, extensive mall, which is actually on the top three levels of the block long structure.
The Beverly Center certainly caters to the higher end fashion conscious with stores like Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss and D&. It also has trendy, more common stores like H&M, Express and American Eagle. There’s even an Apple store. Bloomingdales is the upscale department store name you’ll see from the street at the corner of La Cienega Blvd and Beverly Blvd. The 8th floor – the top floor – has the food court which boasts a variety of chains like Pastagina, Panda Express and more.
Directly across from the mall along La Cienega Blvd are Marshalls, which surprisingly has some of the best finds, and Old Navy.
STAR POWER: For those interested in celebs and stars, the Beverly Center is a good place to randomly see them. Singer Brandy has been spotted there as well as Mark Wahlberg, Kim Kardashian and more.
Note: Like any indoor mall that has twists and turns, it can be a little disorienting to find your way around the massive Beverly Center.
