Hollywood Museum
Overview: Housed in the grand, art deco Max Factor Building, the Hollywood History Museum has four floors of the most famous collection of Hollywood memorabilia. $15.00 lets you see Hannibal Lecter’s jail cell, costumes and props such Pee Wee Herman’s bicycle and suit, Marilyn Monroe’s pink dress from Let’s Make Love, historic Hollywood photo galleries, movie posters and much more. Something from your favorite star, whether it be Brad Pitt or Elvis Presley, can be seen at the Hollywood Museum. The museum’s building itself is actually pretty fun just to walk around in because it has so much (Hollywood and entertainment) history. Plus, it’s right next to one of Los Angeles’ great diners – Mel’s Diner.
