Bamboo Plaza
Overview: The Bamboo Plaza in Chinatown L.A. is located on the northeast side of Chinatown. It’s a multi-tiered shopping plaza with an assortment of Chinese knick knacks, kitchen ware and other items. There’s a Happy Land music shop as well. It’s a bit dated but has a very nice courtyard and glass elevator in the center.
The main point of interest, however, of the Bamboo Plaza is the Empress Pavalion Restaurant, the most famous dim sum restaurant in Los Angeles.
Location: 988 N. Hill Street, Los Angeles, 90012
