Review: I stayed in this hotel seven nights. I will distinguish the actual room and bathroom from the quality of service I received.

First off, the hotel is great. Very wheelchair accessible.

The room and bathroom – check out the pictures and see for yourself. The bathrooms at the Hotel Beranek in Prague are wheelchair accessible. They are large, spacious and have roll-in showers. You have the support of handrails on either side of the toilet and the handrails can be folded up if you don´t need them. The outlet next to the mirror is a bit high and if you are using an adapter, the adapter may stick in there outlet and may be hard to pry loose as mine was. Also, the do not disturb sign is hung up insanely high and the extra lock on the door is high as well. The beds are typical European beds – narrow. But, they were very comfortable. There is a great view of a little community square or park just outside the window if you have a room looking over the Belehradska street.

The internet in the hotel costs 45 CZK for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, there is an internet cafe around the corner which charges only 35 CZK for one whole hour!

The hotel also charges a high premium for laundry service. You can get laundry done for a third of the hotel’s cost near Wenceslas Square. Check out the photo galleries.

Hotel Beranek is outstanding in its location, wheelchair accessibility and comfort of the rooms. Plus, there´s a CSOB bank right outside the entrance with an cash machine or ATM.

My only negative review is that the older female staff members of the hotel lacked customer service skills and attentiveness to the simplest requests until I brought it to their attention. All other staff members were polite and enthusiastic and eager to help me.
