Staying in Ubud
Overview: Ubud, Bali is fit to be tied when it comes to wheelchair accessible hotels. I discovered only two hotels that wheelchair accessible–and I went around to many. I didn’t even attempt to investigate some of places because they were just inaccessible by sight. I originally showed up at the Green Field Hotel and Bungalows but the hotel was inaccessible, even after emailing the hotel that I was in a wheelchair. My driver, then, drove me to Jalan Monkey Forest where I stayed at the Ubud Inn, which turned out to be reasonably wheelchair accessible.
There are, however, a couple of the wheelchair accessible hotels (Ubud Inn) in Ubud, Bali–and some other for kicks and because they are beautiful places you might like to stay at.
