On Jalan Monkey Forest, there is a small, cute lane dedicated for the Monkey Forest Art Market. Here, you’ll find some of the same items as you’d find at the main Ubud Market but the emphasis here is Balinese art. There are paintings and hand-crafted art objects galore. This lane doesn’t attract quite as many tourists. I found I could negotiate better terms here for souvenirs. By the way, art is immensely huge in Bali and there are some outstanding works in any shop or market you go to.
