Taking cooking courses with a group is a useful, and more importantly, fun activity anywhere. The preparations in an Ubud, Bali cooking course will prepare you for a lifetime.
Here are a couple of recommendations.
BUMI BALI RESTAURANT & COOKING SCHOOL
I liked the staff, restaurant and set up here a lot. The courses take place on site in the restaurant’s large and spread out space. Bumi Bali offers a vegetarian class, normal class and even extra day classes. The class runs from 9:00am to 2:00pm or whenever you are done.
I highly recommend this course.

CAFE WAYAN
This restaurant offers a cooking course via its sister company, Laka Leke, which is located behind the Sacred Monkey Forest. The actual lessons are taught at Laka Leke and they are 2 hours followed by a meal.
I recommend Bumi Bali but I’m just putting this one down because this school offers more of a variety of lessons. But, the lessons are only 2 hours and the lessons are off site.
