Motel 168 is a growing business type motel franchise that’s growing by leaps in bounds. The Motel 168 chain has expanded and/or acquired hotel chains to include Motel 268 and Merrlyn.
The Motel 168 Jingling Lu branch is in the most central location in Shanghai. It’s in the Huangpu District and borders The Bund area and Luwan (Huaihai Lu) and close to the People’s Square and the Shanghai Railway Station. This branch is not the cleanest and the building is old. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent and included in the cost of the rooms.
