Food Stand Nanjing Lu & Shanghai MOCA
Overview: An immensely busy and popular local stand right next to the People’s Park and MOCA Shanghai entrance, the cooks fry up interesting and tasty treats like octopus balls with spinach (some sort of greenery!) topped with sauces, satay grilled beef, chicken, and doughy pancakes with eggs and ham. Roll up the pancake and it becomes a burrito.
It’s a delicious and inexpensive alternative to the restaurants. Try it. You’ll like it!
Location: Near corner of Central Nanjing Lu and Huangpi Lu next to Starbucks
Cost: 4 – 10 Yuan
Accessibility: There is a step about 6 inches high.
