Overview: When you walk around Shanghai in the Huangpu District, you’ll notice something peculiar in the distance. It’s across the Huangpu River and appears to be some kind of huge antennae with a pink ball on top. It’s either one of the most bizarre or coolest, futuristic buildings you’ve ever seen. Enter, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. It’s 1,536 feet high. It’s made up of 11 spheres and 3 columns and has 15 observatory levels. The space module is the highest level at 1,148 feet and has a pink tint inside because of the pink tinted windows. There’s a also a hotel and a revolving restaurant.
