Hong Kong’s legendary fresh food market, Hung Hom Wet Market, has food such as frogs so fresh that you can see them alive. Yes, literally alive before they are kaput. The Hung Hom Wet Market of course sells other items such as poultry, fruits and dry goods.

Location: Hung Hom Municipal Services Building, 11 Ma Tau Wai Rd, Hung Hom, Kowloon City. Hung Hom district or area is just east of Tsim Sha Tsui.

LADIES MARKET
The Ladies Market in Mongkok (Kowloon) is an outdoor marketplace comprised of stalls upon stalls of goodies, wares and trinkets. The vendors at the Ladies Market expect you to negotiate so start with about 30 to 40% of their asking price items until you are comfortable or happy with the purchase price. It’s located on Tung Choi Street in Kowloon in the Mongkok area near the Standford Hotel.
