Cafe Laguna
There are two Cafe Lagunas in the Ayala Center and they are directly across from each other (across the beautiful Ayala Center courtyard). The Filipino food at these upscale restaurants is very tasty and the restaurants offer a variety of western food as well. Try the fresh lumpia (vs the fried lumpia, or spring roll as we know it in the west), which is a light crepe stuffed stuffed with veggies and pork and doused in a syrup. The glass noodles and shallots in the bihon pancit (pancit being a staple dish in the Philippines) are also tasty. These restaurants have a very good reputation as serving authentic and quality Filipino food.
