If you like spicy, try the Tom Yum soup bowl with chicken, shrimp or pork or some pork bits mixed with vegetables and rice.
The Thai’s also have their own blend of curries, often sweet. Red chicken curry or green served with rice. This dish is a must try. There’s also the staple Pad Thai with a mix of rice noodles, vegetables, fried eggs, sprouts and your choice of chicken, pork, beef or shrimp or a combination of all.
Don’t be afraid to try the food of many street vendors. The grilled chicken and beef sticks are delicious and they haven’t caused any problems yet! If you get food from a street vendor, just make sure they cook the chicken or beef thoroughly in front of you. They cost around 20 to 30 baht.
