Crocodile Farm and Zoo
Overview: Ever wanted to hold and pet adorable baby tigers with big ole paws? You know, the ones you see only on National Geographic or Youtube videos. Or see tigers, dogs and hogs playing together like they are all kittens? Welcome to Bangkok’s Crocodile Farm and Zoo. Yes, 3 dogs, one hog and two tigers live and play together in the same cage! The cage, in fairness, does have a pool or water and a cave. The cage itself is surrounded by a double fence and there is no rope restricting access to the fence. What that means is that you can go right up to the fence, touch it (even stick your finger through it) and be a couple of inches away from the beautiful tigers. Check out the photos of the baby tiger and grown tiger up close and personal.
There’s a fantastic crocodile show where a couple of guys walking around in a pit of water (in a stadium setting) full of crocodiles, drag the crocodiles out of the water and put their heads in the gaping jaws of crocodile. Sometimes the performers slip on the ground when a croc gets out of control and start twisting and snapping its jaws while being pulled around by its tail.
To top this all off, yes, you’ll can hold and feed a baby tiger! Take a tour arranged by your hotel. You’ll be taken by a van and go south of Bangkok about 5 miles to Samutprakarn.
