Eastcoast where you at! Whereas tourists bump and grind, trip over each other, makeout on the dance floor in Kuta, tourists in Sanur sit in their chairs at restaurants that double as lounges, have light conversations during local singing acts and applaud politely. Yeah, Sanur is just the opposite of rowdy Kuta. I like to think of Sanur’s nightlife venues as quick stopovers before hitting the sack or grabbing a taxi to hit up Kuta.
Sanur’s really a place to relax, be away from the crowd and mingle among the less virulent. Whatever venue or restaurant you eat dinner at in Sanur, that is likely going to be your bar for the night. In fairness, there are a few places that offer live night performances near Palm Garden Hotel and Sanur Beach Hotel. Plus, tourists go to Sanur and Nusa Dua for a real getaway vacation.
On On Cafe Billiard
This bar is wheelchair accessible and close to the Hotel Palm Garden and Sanur Beach Hotel – Bali (a bit of a walk from here anyway). This is the only place that had pool tables I could find in Sanur. It’s a laid-back restaurant/bar that serves some pretty good food actually.
Location: Jalan Danau Poso, Sanur, Bali 80228. close to Jalan Danau Tamblingan. It’s on the same street as the BIDP Bali Diving shop.

Accessibility: The On On Cafe is wheelchair accessible. There is a step, however, if you want to play pool in the back.
Trophy Pub
This popular unpretentious little pub is at the corner of Jalan Danau Tamblingan and Jalan Kesuma near the Hotel Palm Garden. It’s a bar and restaurant, has an uncovered as well as a covered area and is wheelchair accessible. Always saw people in there.

Cat & Fiddle
This is definitely an expat bar that looked pretty popular as I wheeled by it. It’s very close to Sanur Beach Hotel.
