KODAK THEATRE
The Kodak’s Theatre is Hollywood what an imperial palace is to an Asian dynasty: it’s the centerpiece. The Kodak’s mammoth presence and grand portal just west of the Highland and Hollywood Complex render a majestic feel. The 3,332 seat theatre has a five-level lobby and audience hall and claims the largest stage in the world.
The permanent home for the Academy Awards shows now belongs to the famous Kodak Theatre. This grand theatre is part of the Hollywood and Highland Center and is recessed from the Hollywood Blvd sidewalk. You must enter under the Kodak Theatre marquee. Aside from hosting the Oscars, the Kodak has live performances and events such as Cirque du Soleil.
