Hollywood Wax Museum
Overview: Opened in 1965, the Hollywood Wax Museum contains life-size replicas of the most well-known stars. Since your average star doesn’t walk along Hollywood Blvd (Sunset Strip is more likely), get up and close at the wax museum. The Hollywood Wax Museum even has a section dedicated to horror movies. Not as realistic or artistically precise as Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong, but it’s still a pretty fun attraction to check out.
If you have to choose between the Hollywood History Museum or the Hollywood Wax Museum because of budget, consider that you’ll be seeing authentic items at the Hollywood Museum. But, the combo ticket for the wax museum and Guinness offers two venues.
Be sure to download the $2.00 coupon the Hollywood Wax Museum’s website. Or, if you are going purchase a combo ticket for the Wax Museum and Guiness World of Records Museum, the combo ticket at Guinness is $1.00 less.
