Hollywood & Highland Center
Overview: Talk about massive Hollywood, the Hollywood and Highland Center encompasses more than the northwest corner of Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave, it stretches west on Hollywood Blvd, incorporating the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Kodak Theatre, the home of the Academy Awards ceremonies. In the front of the Hollywood and Highland center lies part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Hollywood and Highland center is mainly an entertainment and restaurant center but also includes a place to lodge at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. The center packs in a variety of entertainment options, including a cinema (Chinese Theatre), the hip and slick bowling center, Lucky Strike Lane, and night clubs, Level 3 and The Highlands. More than entertainment, the center offers numerous choices to satisfy your hunger. Notably, the upscale The Grill on Hollywood, Koji’s Sushi & Shabu Shabu Restaurant and a local favorite, California Pizza Kitchen.
As you stroll through the Hollywood and Highland Center, you may notice the large archways leading to a Babylon style, multi-tiered courtyard. Detailed pillars erect elephant statues in the courtyard of the center and mult-level walkway bridges cross the north archway. The bridges and the north end of the courtyard offer a spectacular view of the Hollywood Sign.
The Hollywood and Highland Center also has plenty of retail shopping opportunity, including a Bebe store, Aveda and much more.
