Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
Overview: Since 1964, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion has been one of the focal centers of Los Angeles’ performing arts culture. The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion is situated at the south end of the music center plaza at the corner of Grand Avenue and 2nd Street.
The Los Angeles Opera and Dance at the Music Center now perform in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, which has over 3000 seats, making it one of the largest performing arts centers in the United States.
There are several dining choices: the Pinot Grill (21.972.3190), a fun outdoor but elegant dining experience between the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Mark Taper Forum, Kendall’s Brasserie (213.972.7322) and Spotlight Café, the most affordable of the dining choices in the plaza.
