AMC 15 Century City
Overview: Century City’s AMC 15 Theater is fantastic. It just looks cool too. A few years ago, the AMC theatre was an ordinary theatre which didn’t merit any talk. Today, after much renovation, the glass, futuristic and three-level theatre has people talking. It’s certainly a favorite among people nearby. Plus, you never know which star or celebrity you’ll see there in person.
Inside the half-circle theatre are posters or murals of Hollywood legends and movies high along the walls. From the entrance, there are ticket counters as well as a number of self-ticketing machines, which are nice and effecient. The theatre has stadium seating with two levels broken by the middle level. The middle levels of the theatres are deep and are the spots for handicap seating. You can recline in the cushioned seats.
The only real issue with the theatre isn’t the theatre itself but the mall. Mainly, the parking lot can be a zoo and you may wait for 30 min to exit at night. Though you get 3 hours free for parking, if you’re seeing a movie at the Century City AMC 15, chances are, you’ll exceed the 3 hour limit.
Other than that, the theatre is a great place to see movies. Plus, the matinees before 12pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are a great deal and a surprisingly, a great time to see movies.
