Overview: The London Heathrow airport is a bit of an old labyrinth with transportation buses between terminals, long, windy hallways and carpet floors. Gates aren’t the easiest to find or very clearly marked but you find you eventually find your way around.
Handicap Airport Services: The airport does have handicap services. If you use a manual, push wheelchair, it might be a good idea to avail yourself to this service here since there are a lot of carpeted hallways, making a long distance connection between gates a bit of a trek.
The airport has handicap accessible transport buses between terminals and a somewhat courteous staff. Check out the site’s website to view their “Special Needs” information and Disability Discrimination Act.
Staff: Staff here is helpful, guiding you through connections between terminals, riding with you on the transport buses and taking you through the customs and immigration lines of the Heathrow Airport.
Money, Cash Machines ATMs: There are several cash machines at the exits of the terminals.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms have handrails to assist you.
