Prague Old Town Square
Overview: In Czech, it’s Staroměstské Náměstí. Prague’s Old Town is appropriately named, as this area was where Prague’s first settlers set up their habitat. It’s located in the Prague 1 and is over 800 years old (dates back to the 12th century). Old Town Square is the other “square” in Prague, with Wenceslas Square being the second. Some of the major monuments in Prague’s Old Town are the Old Town Hall Tower, built in 1338, with the Astronomical Clock and Church of Our Lady Tyn.
On the more casual side, there are slew of restaurants, novel and boutique shops, quaint dessert places, Havel’s Market (very nearby), more shopping and horse and carriage rides to boot (and large horses at that).
Location: It’s situated between Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square on Staroměstské Náměstí, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic

Accessibility: Prague’s Old Town is a must see tourist attraction but it is burdened with “charming” little cobblestones. They are not moundy per se, but the brick-like stones do present a bit of a bumpy ride. Some of the narrow streets have very slim sidewalks and/or posts that may get in the way. Cars actually do use the roads in Old Town. The bumpiness of the roads get a tad bumpier as you approach the Charles Bridge. But, the sidewalks are made up of the 3 x 3 stones to make it easier to stroll. Take a look at the pictures and judge for yourself. Do they make you want to go?
Getting There: Wheel, walk
