About Getting Around Attractions Hotels Eats Essentials & Practicals
Sachsenhausen
Where my party people at!! Better yet, where’s the party in Frankfurt’s trendiest section? Sachsenhausen is Frankfurt’s trendy bar area! It turns the old area into one of Frankfurt’s swankiest party zones. It’s just a pretty area and frequented by the young. The area is made of the brick-like cobblestones mixed with the arch-like cobblestones. Motley colored buildings adorn the streets as well as create charming alleyways. It’s a bumpy ride wheeling along the streets.
Location: South of the Main River (access by crossing the Iron Bridge)
Cost: Depends on your “spirits”
Accessibility: Most of the bars and restaurants have steps at the entrances. But, they set out tables and benches in front of their businesses.
Getting There: If you’re staying across bridge, you can easily stroll to this area. I would suggest wheeling to this area as the stroll is pleasant, especially across one of the bridges. The bridges have lifts on either side.
