Frankfurt Opera House
Built in the 1880s and reconstructed in the early 1980s, the Frankfurt Opera House, originally built by Richard Lucae, houses Frankfurt’s famous Frankfurt Opera. Just off Zeil are Frankfurt’s opera house and stock exchange buildings. They are really something to behold in one of Frankfurt’s most prized public squares. The square was originally known as the Theatre Square but is known as the Willy-Brandt-Platz today.
