Bellagio Cafe (Lu Gang Xiaozhen)
A fantastic, funky stop to eat at, the Bellagio Cafe might surprise you by its trendy, spiky-haired waitresses and mountainous desserts made of shaved ice, condensed milk, bean curd (delicious, by the way) and fruits. There is no male wait staff; it’s all female hipsters catering to a young, cool crowd (for the most part). This restaurant specializes in Taiwanese dishes and some American dishes. It’s easy to find. Find Xiaoyun Lu in the Chaoyang District with all the trendy dance clubs. It’s located just across the street from the Renaissance Beijing Hotel.
Location: Xiaoyun Lu 35, Chaoyang District, Beijing
Cost: A meal will cost about 50 Yuan, depending on drinks and desserts
Accessibility: This particular branch is not wheelchair accessible. There are a couple of steps up to the entrance. Go with some friends, have them pull you up and experience this slick, trendy restaurant.
